I  traveled out to the Oasis one evening, when I saw a rainbow cloud in the city headed that way. After catching that scene I took a spot along the Oasis railing to catch some sunset as well. It ended with a setting crescent moon to top everything off. Here are a few stills followed by the whole sunset played out in time lapse. The Rainbow clip exceeded my account or memory so I have to post it separately.

Chasing a rainbow

I chased this rainbow from downtown to a good open setting and caught it! The location is the top of the Oasis Parking ramp. Afterwards I caught a sunset over lake Travis.

Here is the time lapse photo set stitched together into a short video clip.

A quick Time Lapse Sunset in the Hill Country

I made 2 trips to The Sunset Deck at Balcones Canyon Wildlife Refuge, the Warbler refuge.
The 2nd trip was to catch the sunset view from the Sunset deck.
At first I thought I might have the place to myself, but on each trip I discovered a persistent trickle of visitors that come to see the view.

I set my camera up for a time lapse capture at high resolution, and the samples above are a few of the individual pictures at highest resolution on my camera 24 MP
Then I put them together and generated a youtube:

Free Car Show at Camp Mabry, with hundreds of show cars

I made a fresh air excursion to the free Muscle Car Show at Camp Mabry on this

finally not so hot Saturday morning. There were hundreds of cars on display. I took photos until I tuckered.
